I have a 2001 dodge ram 3500 4×4 cummins dually. My truck is all stock what control arms do you recomend for my truck. Its used for towing a car trailer with camper
the custom fixed arms for stock application would work just fine.If you looking for a super strong control arms which will last as long as the truck, which have an aticulating ball in the joint side and poly urethane in the other end,the severe duty control arms work very well and is adjustable from stock to 7″ of lift.
Hey there! Love the site, and it being so close to home (Federal Way). What do you recommend for my 1997 D. Ram 1500 4×4 5.9lgas. As of right now it is stock. but Im interested in going the lifted route. I want a medium lift, maybe clear 35” tires? I also use this truck for construction, so i’ve always got things in the back! Thanks so much.
Hi chris,if you want to to clear 35s,a 5″ lift will work just fine,it inclueds front spacers, fixed control arms,U bolts,5″ rear block, a track bar drop bracket, front sway bar drop bracket and 4 procomp gas charged shocks for 700.00 thanks,Dave
I have a 2005 2500 5.9 cummin’s and I have 35’s on it know with a 2″ leveling kit and rub a little when in reverse and turned all the way. Do you think a 3″ would clear them? Or would I need something different? If a 3″ will work what would I need to change? I use to have a 04 2500 Hemi and had a 2″ leveling kit and it cleared them just fine.
Hi,your best bet would either be 1/2″ longer control arms or a 3″ spacer, reason why your hemi drove fine is because it was a light weight gas engine compared to a heavy cummins on the same coil.
